HOW TO INCREASE HEIGHT OF THE CHILD?
HOW TO INCREASE HEIGHT?
------------------------------------------------
Height of the person depends on genetics (about 80%) and environmental factors (about 20%). During infancy, babies grow about 25 cm, about 12.5cm in 2nd year, about 6.5cm in 3rd / 4th of age, about 4 to 6cm till puberty. During puberty, height increases by 8 to 10cm per year.
❇️ How to calculate height?
▪️ Final height depends on the height of the mother & father, it is calculated by formula.
▪️Consult your pediatrician to calculate the expected final height of the child.
▪️ Now mark expected final height on growth chart.
▪️ Now mark the current height on the growth chart.
▪️ If your child's current height is not in the range of expected height then consult your pediatrician.
*Example* : Father height is 174 cm and mother height is 160 cm then expected final height calculated by formula of boy is 167 cm & expected range is 161 to 173 cm and mark this range on growth chart. Now the height of the boy is 89cm at 4 year and mark it on the growth chart. As current height is not in the range of expected height thus this child needs to be evaluated.
