MY CHILD IS WEIGHT IS LOW (AGE 2 TO 10 YEAR)
During this age group, the weight of the child increases slowly. It was advisable to compare weight with height for assessment of growth on the growth chart. If a child is not gaining weight then it can have serious implications on overall health.
Remember... Proper evaluation and diagnosis is key in the treatment.

🔹 Weight of child increases by 1.5 to 2.5 kg per year between 2 to 5 year of age.
🔹 Weight of the child increases by 2 to 3.5 kg per year till puberty.
❇️ Causes of failure to thrive
