Silly mistakes in exam; Causes and how to minimize it?

How to avoid silly mistakes ?
---------------------------------------------
As soon as the exam is over, the first thing we do is verify our answer. And we find that we wrote wrong answers not because of not knowing the concept, it is due to silly mistakes. Everyone makes silly mistakes but if you work on avoiding it, it will definitely increase your marks.
In short ... When you make a mistake, there are only 3 things you should ever do... Admit it, learn from it & don't repeat it
 ๐Ÿ”ดCauses of silly mistake
❇️ Poor concentration
❇️ Poor time management
❇️ Mistakes in OMR sheet
In short.... It is not mistake to make mistake but it's a mistake to repeat mistake
๐Ÿ”ด How to overcome it ?
❇️ Poor concentration
All following points increase your concentration.....
๐Ÿ”น How to study?
      -----------------------
Read my blog on How to study on Facebook....  "Positive Parenting" or watch videos on YouTube.... Dr Ashish Agrawal
In short..... Proper preparation prevent poor performance
๐Ÿ”น How to prepare for exam day?
      ------------------------------------------------
Read my blog on How to study on Facebook....  "Positive Parenting" or watch videos on YouTube...."Dr Ashish Agrawal."
๐Ÿ”น Take longer mock test
      ---------------------------------------------
Taking mock tests longer than the actual duration of the exam will strengthen your concentration muscle. So if real test is 3 hours longer, take mock test for 4 hour
In short..... Failing to prepare is preparing to fail
๐Ÿ”น Always attempt easy section first
     ---------------------------------------------------
If you find one part easy like chemistry in JEE exam, always attempt first as it takes less time and increases your confidence level.
๐Ÿ”น Read the question carefully
       ------------------------------------------------
Reading questions completely is important to avoid silly mistakes. Human brain has a habit of seeing what they want to see particularly during a high pressure environment like an exam. Sometimes the last few words of a question changes everything. Read the problem statement carefully, underlying the important point and then solve the question
๐Ÿ”น Don't solve immediately
      -------------------------------------------
Don't fall into the trap of answering fast if you find an easy question. Read twice as few words may have two meanings and may have different answers.
In short.... You can't be successful if you can't handle pressure
๐Ÿ”น Enter complete data
      ----------------------------------
If you have habit of making silly mistake, enter all data or equation before solving it
In short ... More the hurry, more the problem
๐Ÿ”น Focus during solving question
     -------------------------------------------------
Maximum students make errors right at the end of the problem so when you see the finish line, don't rush or take last steps for granted. Focus as you focused during the initial part of the question.
In short.... Never be in hurry, do everything quietly & calmly
๐Ÿ”น Recheck the answer
      ----------------------------------
If you are not sure about the answer, recheck the problem again. If you got adequate time, you can recheck all question
In short.... Be quick, but don't hurry
๐Ÿ”น Avoid new question
      --------------------------------
While in the middle of the problem, don't try to solve the next one. Focus on one until you solve it or leave it for later.
In short.... Make everything is perfect
๐Ÿ”น Read all options
     -----------------------------
Don't tick the answer till you read all the options. Options are usually set in a way to feel the first option as an answer. If you are confused between two option, re-read the question
In short... Always remember, your focus determine your result
❇️ Time management
๐Ÿ”น Solve mock question paper
      ---------------------------------------------
Whenever you solve a mock question paper at home, solve it as your solving at examination center with time management
In short ... Ordinary students think merely of spending time, great students think of using it
๐Ÿ”นPlan a head
     --------------------
Before going to the exam hall, plan how much time you will spend on each section as per paper pattern. If you had three subjects in a paper, decide how much time you will give to each section as per your strength and weakness. So you won't panic at the end of the exam and avoiding silly mistake
In short... The best preparation for tomorrow is planning today
๐Ÿ”น Not keeping track of time
If you don't keep track of time while solving paper will definitely create panic leading to silly mistakes at the end of the paper.
In short.... If you want to crack the exam, you need to become a master of minutes.

❇️ Mistakes in OMR sheet
๐Ÿ”น Marking all answers at the end
      ------------------------------------------------
Some students want to mark the OMR sheet at the end as they want to recheck answers if they get time wrong technique. Research has proved to be a disaster compared to benefit.
๐Ÿ”น Skip the question in OMR sheet
      --------------------------------------------------
If you skipped the question for not knowing the answer, skip on the OMR sheet also. Always practice mock test with OMR sheet to prevent such mistakes
๐Ÿ”น Keep OMR sheet separate
     ------------------------------------------------
Sometimes we touch the OMR sheet unintentionally leading to a small dot on it.  Even if your answer is right, it will be marked as wrong if you mark a small dot on another circle of the question.
In short.... One stupid mistake can change everything.
